This delivery was purchased by Dave sight unseen. He found it for sale in Pennsylvania through an ad in Hemmings Motor News. It was a complete car when he hauled it home but he was only able to salvage 10-15% due to rust and rot. The upper quarter panels, roof and upper cowl section were about all that was saved. The remainder of the vehicle was pieced together from lots of 37' Ford donors.
The entire body, dash and sheetmetal on Dave's delivery was kept original but the chassis was modified and upgraded. Everything on this car was done by Dave with the exception of the upholstery. The Delivery was about 90% finished when Dave went into the bar business by opening the Broken Spoke Saloon in Sturgis, SD. He finished this car in the bar when it reverted to a workshop during the off-season. It still proudly wears Dave's design of the Broken Spoke Saloon graphic.
