DESCRIPTION
If you forced Dave to choose a favorite vehicle of his own it would be his 3 window coupe. When he bought this car in South Dakota it had been pieced together to a near complete coupe. First thing Dave did was remove the coupe body-that's all he was after. His vision didn't include parts that were bought stock.
He mocked up the wheels and body and went to work completely designing and hand fabricating a frame that would give it the low raked look he was after. Dave made custom floor pans along with the firewall and wheel tubs. The frame gives the car the channeled appearance but in fact it's not.
Practically every other panel and component had to be modified or hand fabricated as well. Very few catalog parts would work with his unique design elements. Dave's 34' coupe gets it's attitude from the extended wheelbase, chopped top, sectioned grill, sectioned hood and dramatic rake. As radical as this car looks it's a pleasure to drive. It has plenty of leg room for the 6ft. driver. No frills on this car, just the perfect streetrod. This coupe holds several awards in the club choice catagory, a Goodguys Rep Pick, Best car of Show and a 98'Street Rod magazine Top Ten award from the Pamona Spring Nationals.
